In the Spring, baby animals are being born. It is a time for new births, new lives. Pregnancy is the springtime for a woman’s body. For many women pregnancy is the best time of their lives. They report feeling healthier than ever before.

However, for some this time can be challenging.  Many women find acupuncture and Chinese medicine very helpful to deal with many symptoms that may arise during this wonderful time.  The symptoms may include: nausea and vomiting, constipation, hemorrhoids, heartburn, pelvic pain, urinary tract infection, sciatica, leg cramps, insomnia, anxiety and depression.

Historically, acupuncture has been used throughout pregnancy and as a treatment to an overdue or difficult labor.
