Spinach Salad with Plums, Goat Cheese, and Sesame Ginger Vinaigrette

Plums, scallions, lemon and black sesame seeds may all benefit the Liver, one of the organs associated with Spring.

2 Handfuls frisee or chicory
1pound bunch of spinach, stems removed, 8 cups leaves
4 scallions sliced on diagonal
4-5 plums, pitted and sliced
2 oz goat cheese, crumbled (optional)
Sesame Ginger Vinaigrette (below)
1 tsp Black sesame seeds 


1 tsp lemon zest, grated
2 Tbs Lemon juice
2 tsp grated fresh ginger
1 Tbs honey
2 1/2 Tbs rice wine vinegar
2 Tbs light olive oil
1Tbls dark sesame oil
1tsp soy sauce
¼ tsp salt
