Montel Williams is doing it!

Did you see Montel teaching foam rolling on the Dr. Oz show on February 9, 2012? As many of you may know, Montel Williams has Multiple Sclerosis. He shared with Dr. Oz that he started using a foam roller about 6 months ago with a trainer and now he uses it every day and loves it.

Foam rolling can help relieve symptoms of pain and stiffness associated with Multiple Sclerosis and other diseases that cause muscle pain and stiffness.
Dr. Oz stated that foam rolling provides deep tissue massage to the lymphatic system that plays a role in immune support.

Foam rolling also:

· Reduces stress and tension

· Increases flexibility

· Increases blood and lymph circulation which aids the body in removing toxins and delivering nutrients and oxygen to muscles and tissues

· Increases neuromuscular efficiency

·Reduces muscular spasticity

Foam rolling is also a great preventative to overuse injury and pain. Other conditions that foam rolling can be benefitial for are Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis, Occupational Overuse Syndrome, and Sport Related Injury.
