Reflexology is the practice of stimulating specific reflex points on the feet that relate to specific organs of the body. By working these points with different techniques, it promotes health and balance in those organs and glands as well as the body as a whole.

Reflexology then can be very successful in correcting infertility. Some causes of infertility are: endometriosis, low sperm count, irregular periods or ovulation, blockages of the male tubes, polycystic ovarian syndrome, and stress related infertility.

The points worked on the feet to help alleviate these conditions would be those of the reproductive system including the uterus/prostate, ovaries/testicles, and the fallopian tubes/seminal vesicles in order to increase circulation, help remove toxins, encourage hormone secretion, and/or relieve obstruction or blockages.

Points of the endocrine system and the nervous system would also be worked in order to promote hormone secretion, improve circulation, remove toxins, and reduce stress.

Relaxation techniques are also applied on the entire foot in order to promote relaxation and reduce stress which can have a significant impact on fertility. By relieving stress the body is better able to function in a more natural way.

Reflexology can help correct the causes for infertility as well as reducing stress, balancing the body, mind, and spirit and creating the internal environment to support conception and pregnancy.
