Spring welcomes growth, renewal, and change, creating an opportunity to cleanse ourselves of hibernating winter habits and find new inspiration in nature as the world blooms into a kaleidoscope of colors.

This spring, I encourage you to practice a walking meditation and truly notice the wonders and miracles of new life and perhaps become inspired to change, renew, and grow.

Doing yoga is perfect for the season of spring. In spring, there’s a certain freshness that lifts so many of our spirits and gets us excited about possibilities to come. Yoga exemplifies a wonderful upward growth that refreshes your body, mind, and soul.

The time honored power of yoga and the affect that it has on our nervous system and our overall health and sense of well being is being understood more and more. Scientific research continues to prove the positive effects of this over 5000 year old practice of yoga. This research will continue to contribute and potentially be an important avenue that allows our health care system to shift from one of illness and disease into a model of health and well being where people start to take more responsibility for their lives.

This spring, my yoga classes will offer you opportunities to tap into a new rhythm and feel even more alive, centered, and calm as we bring more flowing practices as well as some dynamic new sequences.

As Robin Williams stated, “Spring is nature’s way of saying, Let’s Party!’”. I look forward to continuing to celebrate life with you!
